​Downpatrick  Golf Centre is a state of the art  golf driving range,comprising a Tour Green putting green and short game practise area.

Rory McIlroy opened the centre 10th July 2007, It was his last official act as an Amateur.

He later that week competed in the British Open at Carnoustie,won the Silver Medal and after the Walker cup turned pro,the rest is history.

Rory's coach Michael Bannon is still a frequent visitor to the range as are many of the local PGA pros

The centre caters for the experienced golfer or new beginner or just those out for a bit of fun and relaxation.
